Paddle downstream on the majestic Moose River and at the end of the trip you'll be back at Tickner's Rentals where your car is waiting. Or combine a float trip with a ride on the historic Adirondack Railway!
	North Bridge - Approx 4 hours Pristine Adirndack scenery surrounds you as float down this winding river. Small sand beaches dot the banks and are ideal for picnicking. Wildlife such as deer, beaver, otter and the Great Blue heron are frequently spotted along the shores. Tickner's van will shuttle you to the put-in at the North Street bridge, then enjoy a queit, leisurely paddle as you head downstream to Tickner's dock on the Middle Branch. One short portage is required along a well-marked trail.

	Rondaxe Bridge - Approx 6 Hours For an entire day on the river the more energetic paddler can put-in above North bridge and extend the trip another 4 miles, totalling approx 12 miles. Please keep in mind that beginners and children usually find this trip too tiring.

	River & Rail - Approx 4 Hours Paddle the Middle Branch of the Moose River from Tickner's dock in old Forge to their private train stop along the historic Adirondack Scenic Railroad. Yes, you and the canoe travel back to town via the vintage train! The Moose River drifts slowly downstream towards Lock & Dam, an old wooden spillway, then twists and turns through the Black River Wild Forest. Views of Flatrock and Little Round Top Mountains blend with lowland cedar marshes. Approximately six miles downstream canoers pull out at Tickner's landing, where the canoes and people load on board and return on a scheduled train. transportation is provided back to tickner's store from the train station. Two short portages are necessary. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
